Women Congress gearing up to strengthen organization in every booth of Tripura
Tripura Pradesh Mahila Congress will strengthen their organizational activities before Lok Sabha polls and the women wing of opposition Congress has also gearing up to make their presence in every booth of the state.
Highlighting the organizational activities of the Women Congress, Pradesh Mahila Congress president Sarbani Ghosh Chakraborty speaking with media persons said that the president of All India Mahila Congress, Alaka Lamba will arrive in the state on March 5th and she will attend a organization meeting of the party workers and leaders at Agartala town hall on March 6th.
Ms Chakraborty said that Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra will boost up the campaign across Tripura with five pillars are justice for youth, women, farmers, labourers, and in terms of participation, and they will provide strength to the country’s women. The Congress will put forward its programme for the five pillars of justice over the next month, she added.
She also said that during the two days visit of Alaka Lamba, the all India president will meet all the district and block leaders of the party and the Women Congress is preparing a plan to expand its organization in all booths of the state to strengthen the party’s movement against oppressive and anti-people politics of BJP. She added that the Women Congress will also hold ‘Nari Nyay Yatra’ in every district of the state.
