Worker engaged with Diwali decoration at Tripura Sundari temple dies after falls from pole

One construction worker engaged with decoration works of Mata Tripura Sundari temple in Udaipur for decoration of ensuing Diwali festival falls from an electric pole and died at the hospital during treatment on Wednesday.
Sources said that deceased construction worker Shyamal Das along with other workers were engaged with electric works at the outside of the temple and when Das climbed up at the top of an electric pole, suddenly he fell straight to the ground .
Immediately, some local people and other workers rushed to the spot and shifted him to Gomati district hospital with multiple injuries. The visiting doctor started his treatment, Shyamal Das started bleeding from his face, nose and mouth and succumbed at the hospital bed due to his deep injuries around his head.
Later, hospital authorities shifted the body to morgue for autopsy and in the afternoon handed over the mortal remains to his relatives for last rites.
