Not an endless war, says Netanyahu during live TV appearance after Iran claims attacking his office
Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu made his first televised appearance hours after Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed it had targeted his office in Tel Aviv and facilities linked to Israel’s air force command.
Addressing the escalating conflict, Netanyahu said the world would not witness an “endless war” in the Middle East.
Speaking to Fox News, he stated: “You’re not going to have an endless war.”
“This terror regime in Iran is at the weakest point that it’s been since it hijacked Iran from the brave Iranian people 47 years ago. So this is going to be a quick and decisive action. We’re going to create the conditions first for the Iranian people to get control of their destiny, to form their own democratically elected government, which will make a different Iran altogether,” he said.

“If we carry out what we plan to do, I think it will create conditions for peace. This is not an endless war. This is, in fact, something that will usher in an era of peace that we haven’t even dreamed of,” the prime minister added.
Earlier, Iran claimed that its Kheibar Shekan missiles had struck Netanyahu’s office, intensifying uncertainty amid rapidly escalating hostilities across the region.
According to Iran’s state news agency IRNA, the IRGC said it had targeted key Israeli government and military installations in a fresh wave of missile strikes. The reported targets included the prime minister’s office in Tel Aviv, air force-related facilities, and security locations in Haifa and east Jerusalem.
In a statement, the IRGC described Netanyahu as the “criminal prime minister of the Zionist regime” and asserted that both his office and headquarters linked to Israel’s air force command were hit.

Israeli authorities have not confirmed any strike on the prime minister’s office.
The latest developments come amid a deepening leadership crisis in Iran following the reported killing of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei in joint US–Israeli strikes over the weekend.
The IRGC, which reports directly to the supreme leader, has framed its missile campaign as an act of lawful self-defence.
Iranian state media also claimed that Netanyahu’s fate was “uncertain,” fuelling speculation in the absence of official clarification from Israel.
Tehran has said it has launched ten successive waves of missile and drone attacks since Saturday, targeting Israeli territory as well as US military facilities across the region.
