All of their mobile phones have reportedly been switched off.

Investigators have flagged the university as a possible epicentre of the Delhi Red Fort terror attack probe.

The disappearances surfaced during a coordinated operation by the Jammu and Kashmir Police and Haryana Police.

Although officials say it is too early to draw definitive conclusions, intelligence inputs suggest the missing individuals could be connected to the so-called “terror doctor” module responsible for packing a Hyundai i20 with ammonium nitrate fuel oil and detonating it outside the 16th-century monument.

Earlier today, NDTV's sources indicated that Jaish-e-Mohammed- believed to be behind the Red Fort blast- has begun soliciting “donations” of around PKR 20,000 to finance additional fidayeen (suicide) missions.

Investigators also recovered digital clues pointing to online fundraising through platforms such as the Pakistani app SadaPay, and warned of a possible women-led attack being plotted.

Jaish already runs a women’s wing, led by Masood Azhar’s sister Sadiya Azhar. One of the central suspects in the Delhi attack, Dr Shahina Saeed, allegedly known as “Madam Surgeon”, is believed to be part of this unit, Jamat ul-Muminat, and may have overseen the module’s finances.

The Red Fort explosion , Delhi’s first instance of a vehicular-borne improvised explosive device (VBIED), killed 15 people. The driver of the car, Dr Umar Mohammad, died at the scene.

Police have since arrested nine others, including three doctors from Al-Falah Medical College.

On Tuesday, the university’s founder, Jawad Ahmed Siddiqui, was taken into custody by the Enforcement Directorate in connection with a terror-financing money laundering case.
