Anil Dujana was traveling in a Scorpio car to meet his associates in Meerut when he was killed. The encounter involved a total of 21 rounds of firing, with Dujana firing 15 rounds. Two 9 mm pistols were seized from Anil Dujana's possession after the encounter.
Anil Dujana was considered a notorious figure associated with terror activities in Gautam Budh Nagar, Ghaziabad, Delhi-NCR, and Haryana.
He had been released from jail on April 10, 2023, and wasted no time in issuing threats to witnesses in Gautam Budh Nagar as soon as he was out.
Dujana had a close association with gangster Naresh Bhati, who was allegedly killed by Sundar Bhati.
Following Bhati's death, Dujana retaliated by attacking Sundar Bhati. As a result, he had taken over the command of the gang previously led by Naresh Bhati.
